Thank you for being an amazing example of a true woman warrior. You did not give up - many of us would have, I believe.

It is so wonderful to hear from you. Thank you! ❤☮

My friend, I am so glad you are recovering. I had not seen a "post from the slope" in some time and I was worried about you. You might find that worry strange, coming from a complete stranger, but I've enjoyed our interactions.

I must stay your story resonated with me. I was in Manhattan last week and took a tumble on a 53rd street sidewalk. As I was trying to get up two angels appeared on either side to help me up. I say angels, but they were simply two strangers that rushed to assist another stranger in need. And disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Fortunately, no broken bones, but an inability to use my right arm. I'm better now, just 'winged'.

I hope you continue to recover and you get back up the slope.

Regards,

HI and thanks for thinking about me as a "stranger"--glad you broke nothing and are pretty much OK after your fall. I do believe most people will help if given an opportunity and glad you had a couple angels. I cannot seem to be able to transition from 50% weight bearing on the affected leg to 100%--for so long I used my arms for support, just cannot kick the habit. Hope my PT person can figure a way to help me. The leg also feels unstable which does not help. Are you traveling right now??? Hope so. I would be heading to Santa Fe if I could. Take care and hope the arm heals soon.

Diane,

I didnt mean to imply you are a stranger - I feel like you are a friend and we are on the 'slope' together, just at different places. However, someone told me yesterday I was "moving like an old man" down the hall here at the college.

No, not traveling this week, thank goodness. Two weeks of back-to-back travel was enough.

I do hope your PT can get you back on your feet. Keep us informed and keep moving, my friend.

Regards,

Diane my friend…you do not have to be afraid to die. You can be certain of what will happen to you when you physically DIE. It is not the end for those who believe and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord…who died on a cross for man’s sins and was resurrected to life after having been crucified. This all changed with the birth and life of Jesus, Son of God. I know…..This is where our life’s paths beliefs do not agree (for lack of a better word). You know that I am a Christian…a follower of Jesus Christ, Son of God. I believe every word of The Bible…the only book published more than any other book in the history of mankind. He is the only one whose birth and life changed EVERYTHING….even our calendar is based on the birth and death of Jesus….do you not think this would be quite unusual if he were only a man (or a prophet as some have proclaimed) who lived and died? Why would the calendar be based on the life/death of a single man??? I have a strong faith….and faith is not genetically passed on, one is not born with it, it is not given, but rather, it grows through hearing and reading the WORD of GOD in Scripture (The Bible). 40 men over a period of about 1600 years….they all agree. Say what? We can’t agree on what happened last week on the pickleball courts, let alone something that happened 500 years ago?! What other book can you even think of that would have 40 authors publishing events that happened during the life of Jesus that would all share the same truths???. I do not care if I die tomorrow, for I will only have a change of address. Every promise made by Jesus has proven true. We have only the end times left….Jesus has not returned to rapture his family because he is waiting and hoping that ALL will come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ the Lord. The End. Let me know when we are going to lunch!!!
